Revive EMS are looking to expand our team of event first aiders/welfare attendants. Your responsibilities will include administering basic first aid to patients under the supervision of the medical team, provide vital support to patients, attendees and staff. A key part of your role is ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all, assisting vulnerable individuals and offering advice/support and care throughout the event.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic first aid within scope of practice
- Support patients and their friends/relatives
- Maintain a high standard of documentation where required
- Utilise provided equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to Revive EMS policies and procedures, report equipment issues, and dynamically assess risks to protect the health, safety and welfare of patients, the public and other members of staff
Essential
- First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification
- Clean DBS enhanced certificate on the update service (this can be provided for the right candidate)
- Recent experience in a customer service or patient-care role
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
Desirable
- Awareness of safeguarding and drug/alcohol intoxication
- A full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
